With over 40 years of experience of training in traditional Japanese Martial Arts, Brian started training at a young age in various styles of Budo. But not satisfied with the arts being practiced finally found what he was looking for and started studying Koryu (Traditional Budo). During this time Brian was very fortunate to travel not only around Europe, but to the source in Japan and studied Traditional Jujutsu, Kenjutsu, Iaido, Koshi no Mawari, Tanjo, Shurikenjutsu etc.

Although quite new to the Kobukan Brian teaches at a small Dojo on a Tuesday evening in his hometown of Drybrook in Gloucestershire.
