Fûryûkan Bugei Dôjô

With nearly four decades of uninterrupted practice beginning in 1988, he holds a profound foundation in Japanese martial arts and culture. He is a 4th Dan in Judo as well as a 4th Dan in Self-Defense through the Royal Spanish Judo Federation and Associated Disciplines (RFEJyDA), holding the organization's highest regional credentials as a National Master Instructor and Senior Sports Technician (Técnico Deportivo Superior). His early development also includes achieving 1st Dan ranks and instructor status in both Karate and Aikido during his university years, establishing a broad martial foundation prior to fully devoting his focus to classical bugei.

His dedication to traditional lineages began in 2005 with Genbukan Ninpô Bugei, where he earned his instructor certification. In 2006, he commenced his study of Ogawa Ryû Bugei, achieving Menkyo Kaiden in 2014 and being named the successor to the martial, medical, cultural, and spiritual tradition in 2015. Expanding his study of classical schools, he began training in Mondô Ryû Heihô in 2017, becoming the first Westerner to attain the level of Sôden Menkyo in 2022. In parallel with his training, he has served as President of the European Bugei Society since 2007—overseeing the construction of its central headquarters in 2012—and founded the Fûryûkan Bugei Dôjô in 2016, where he continues to actively teach.

Embodying a commitment to lifelong refinement, he resumed his study of Takamatsu-den Ninpô Bugei in 2025 under Kanchô James Wright and Kyôshi Ian Thomas, and began teaching under the Kobukan Kobudô Renmei in 2026. Bringing together nearly 40 years of continuous practice and over two decades of leading an international martial arts organization, his trajectory reflects a unique blend of modern athletic qualification, classical lineage transmission, and proven organizational leadership.
